Mike began his working career as an accountant in Los Angeles. He switched careers in 2004 to financial planning. One of the areas that he specializes in is retirement income planning and tax-advantage investment planning. This area includes IRA’s, 401(k)’s, Defined Benefit Plans (Pensions), etc. Mike enjoys helping clients in all aspects of financial and retirement planning including social security and planning for the “when” to retire. He is well-versed in the planning of the accumulation phase, spending phase, and the legacy phase of financial planning. Mike attended Brigham Young University where he studied business finance.
He is married with 5 children, ranging in age from 18 to 40. His hobbies are playing basketball, watching any kind of sports, spending time with his family, and exploring the great outdoors.
Mike volunteers for the local high school music theatre department and works with the youth of his church.
